It is considered to be the most modern car park in Europe and was inaugurated by the city's mayor, Joan Ribó, and the Councillor for Sustainable Mobility and chairman of the Municipal Transport Company (EMT), Giuseppe Grezzi. This new infrastructure will be managed by EMT and has 356 car park spaces for visitors and residents. It is also equipped with 40 VIARIS COMBI electric vehicle charging stations, manufactured by ORBIS. These are all smart 22 kW three-phase charging stations, featuring Ethernet and RFID card activation and the contractor (EMT) will be able to manage them via the VIARIS Charging Station Management Platform, which monitors, records and supervises any action on these smart charging stations.
It is worth recalling what Valencia's mayor said in the press conference held when he visited the car park: “This car park, as well as being a basic element for the Central Market and trade in the area, has some significant features, such as electric vehicle charging stations, with the aim of changing the city's mobility models to less contaminating ones”.
Thus, our charging stations are a hot topic and have been in these news disseminated across the Valencia Community in print and digital media:
